This 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is a fine example of only 27,004 Corvettes built that year, with a choice of either a coupe or convertible models. This Corvette is a beautiful combination of Classic White paint contrasted against an optional black leather interior. This was the last year that the Corvette came with front and rear chrome bumpers, removable rear window and a windshield wiper door. Other options on this 1972 Corvette include: power steering, power brakes, power windows and T-tops. Under the hood is General Motors tried and true 350 cubic inch V-8 engine attached to a four-speed transmission. Putting out 255H.P. of summer fun. Under this sexy Corvette Stingray is some of the best suspension/ brake technology of the era. Four-wheel hydraulic caliper disc brakes give this Corvette excellent stopping power. Brake technology that is still used today. The front suspension consists of independent SCA type coil springs with center mounted shock absorbers. While the rear features full independent suspension with a frame anchored differential unit. Giving this 1976 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray one of the best driving experiences for its era. |
